Job Description


We are looking to hire Home Inspectors on long term contracts (up to 5 years) to complete condition assessments. This is an amazing long-term opportunity with consistent work flow. We are looking for customer focussed Home Inspectors who will conduct high-quality lifecycle condition and quantity assessments of primarily residential buildings.


Location: The majority of the work will be conducted in the GTA with some overnight travel required in other parts of Ontario. Standard working hours with mileage to job site covered where appropriate.


Overview of the Opportunity:

To conduct high quality lifecycle condition and quantity assessments of buildings fabrics, finishes and services. Utilizing an I Pad Assessors will take photos and document building conditions and the conditions of building assets. No repair or remediation work is required for the Condition Assessors. All repairs and remediation work are the responsibility of the Asset Owners. Condition Assessors will estimate the cost of works pertaining to defect rectifications and verify any condition assessment data queries on completion. Condition Assessors will conduct meetings/reviews with clients prior to the assessment and interface with residents on a daily basis. Assessments are being conductive primarily in residential spaces so Condition Assessors must conduct themselves professionally at all times.




Must be a Registered Home Inspector or a Registered Architect

Computer literate with the ability to use an I Pad

Exceptional attention to detail to document and note asset information accurately and correctly.


General understanding of materials’ lifecycle.


General understanding of building service including HVAC and electrical.


Knowledge of the Fire Code an asset


Handle multiple assessment projects in condensed time frames.

Effectively liaise with projects team to ensure smooth and seamless project process and delivery.


Ability to deliver exceptional quality assessments on a long term basis
